Job summary

Good Samaritan Battle Lake is hiring a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, resident-centered care in our long-term care setting. You will perform daily living activities, assist with meals, monitor vitals, and support the care team under supervision of an RN.

Qualifications include active CNA certification, a minimum age of 16, and prior long-term care experience preferred. Training and certification support are provided by the facility.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Active CNA certification with State Board of Nursing, or certification in process with facility support.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing and meal support; monitor vital signs.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and proper PPE usage; document resident interactions.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, range of motion and mobility support; support wellness and recreational activities.
