Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding and knowledge of technology systems necessary for patient data collection.
• Maintains clean, safe and orderly work/patient environment by cleaning work stations/areas, equipment; stocking supplies; placing equipment in proper storage areas.
• Follows plan of care under direction of RN/LPN, performing treatments and procedures as competency allows (e.g., enemas, vital signs, sitz baths, specimen collection) while ensuring documentation is accurate.
• Delivers care that is consistent with instructions, within legal standards, and aligns with patient values; supports privacy and plans of care.
• Participates in training and support of team members, volunteers and students as needed.
