Job summary

Skyline Nursing Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver hands-on care for residents in a skilled nursing environment.

You will assist with personal care, daily activities, meal service, mobility, safety, documentation and communication with licensed nurses, following standards and regulations. Requires current CNA certification and BLS/CPR, with attention to resident comfort and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Certified in the state of practice.
• Completed State Approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program; listed on State Registry.
• Prior SNF Nurse Aide experience preferred but not required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides residents’ personal hygiene including bedpans, baths, back rubs, shampoos; assists with bathroom trips and showers.
• Assists with activities of daily living; serves meals, feeds residents as necessary; ambulating and positioning.
• Assists with lifting, transferring using beds/chairs/bath tubs; prepares for appointments and activities.
• Participates in meal service; serves food trays; ensures utensils within reach; documents snacks and hydration as policy.
• Checks vitals, weight; monitors urine; records intake/output.
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records.
• Maintains resident confidentiality and adheres to policies and regulations.
