Job summary

Salemtowne in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist in clinic operations and support residents with personal care, transportation, and documentation. You will observe, report, and record observations to ensure quality care, comfort, and safety.

The role requires NC CNA certification, CPR certification, and a high school diploma or GED. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, meals, and coordinating with nursing staff to meet care plans

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification from an accredited institution.
• North Carolina CNA Certification with no substantiated reports on the state registry.
• CPR certification by American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional customer service to clients/residents, families, providers, insurers, vendors, in person or by phone.
• Provide personal care to clients/residents per the care plan (bathing, feeding, ambulation, mobility assistance, dressing, hygiene, etc.).
• Document care delivered in the electronic health record for each resident and patient.
• Follow HIPAA procedures to protect residents' rights and confidentiality.
• Triage client/resident requests by consulting with Nurse Supervisor or Physician.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and comply with regulations.
