Job summary
Valley View Care Center in Grand Rapids, MI is actively seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our award-winning team. CNAs provide compassionate daily living assistance, document care plans, and monitor changes in patients’ conditions to support the clinical nursing staff.
You will earn wage opportunities starting at $19.65/hour with shift premiums of $2.00/hour for 2nd/3rd shifts and hero pay of $3.40/hour.
Qualifications
- Completed approved nurse aide training program.
- Current Michigan CNA certification.
- Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to providing excellent, compassionate care.
- Team player dedicated to supporting colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Perform and document patient care according to individualized care plans (bathing, daily living activities, skin care, etc.).
- Document nutritional intake, vital signs, catheter care, bowel/bladder training, weights, turning and positioning.
- Support therapies (physical, occupational, speech, restorative, recreational) and promote well-being.
- Observe and report significant changes to the nursing team.
- Provide hospitality and excellent customer service in all interactions with guests, families and visitors.
