PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Wilkes-Barre is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. The role does not involve administering medications or therapy.

Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification per state requirements and current BLS certification are needed. Prior hospital experience (2–3 years) is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience: none required; 2–3 years preferred in acute hospital, rehab hospital, or skilled nursing unit.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities under supervision of a Registered or LVN/LPN.
• Do not administer medications or therapy.
• Follow hospital policies, procedures and guidelines.
