Job summary

Waldron Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident care and support in activities of daily living and to ensure health, welfare and safety of residents. Responsibilities include assisting with meals, hygiene, mobility, and monitoring vital signs, while documenting actions and maintaining privacy under HIPAA guidelines.

The role requires CNA certification, ability to communicate in English, and a preference for long-term care

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• CPR certification required.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Current certification as a CNA under state laws.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist with serving meals and feeding; provide fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Assist with personal hygiene (bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, shaves); help with transfers and showers.
• Assist with ambulating, turning, and positioning residents.
• Monitor vital signs and weight; record intake and output.
