Job summary

Sycamore Care Strategies in Loogootee, IN is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for a full-time position at our 56-bed dementia care facility, where we foster a home-like environment and treat residents and staff like family. Qualifications

• Must have current CNA certification.
• Experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
• Document patient care and observations accurately and timely
• Report any changes in patient condition to the licensed nurse
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
