Job summary

Sandpiper Healthcare & Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caregiving team. You will help residents with daily activities, provide compassionate care, and support a safe and respectful living environment.

This role offers set scheduling with PRN options to accommodate shift needs. You will work under the supervision of nursing leadership, ensuring compliance with care plans, policies, and quality standards while fostering a supportive atmosphere for

Qualifications

• Certification as CNA must be current and in good standing.
• Caring and compassionate demeanor required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Willingness to work scheduled shifts and PRN options as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to residents.

Qualifications & Details:

To qualify for the position, you will need:

• Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)


• A caring & loving personality and demeanor


• The ability to work your scheduled shift


• The ability to read, write & speak English

As a certified nursing assistant (CNA) you are responsible for providing exceptional nursing care in accordance with our policies and procedures. You will have all of the training, support, tools & equipment you need to provide the highest degree of quality care. Our team of nursing care professionals & mentors will be by your side every day, including a Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nursing and Administrator.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Enhancing the vibrancy and quality of life of our residents


• Helping residents throughout the day with their activities of daily living (ADLs), which are: eating, dressing, transferring, walking, bathing, toileting & hygiene support


• Promptly responding to resident call lights


• Preparing residents for therapy sessions, activities and appointments


• Following infection control procedures


• Documenting and charting your care for each resident


• Protecting residents’ rights


• Adhering to our policies and standards
