Job summary

Qualifications
- One year of experience as a CNA in long-term care is highly preferred.
- Must possess and maintain a current state CNA certification.
- Ability to lift/move residents with proper body mechanics.
- Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
Responsibilities
- Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
- Record patient vital signs and report changes to nurses.
- Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager.
- Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
- Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
- Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.
