Job summary

St. Paul’s Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate and skilled CNA to join our dedicated healthcare team.

The CNA will play a critical role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their well-being and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment. This part-time, day shift position requires Indiana CNA certification, strong communication and teamwork, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a CNA in Indiana is required.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration practices and state regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Compassionate, patient demeanor with a genuine desire to serve seniors.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers in compliance with state regulations.
• Monitor residents for health changes and report observations to nursing staff.
• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care activities.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Support nursing staff in responding to emergencies and providing prompt care.
• Foster a warm, respectful atmosphere for residents and families.
