Job summary

Kirkwood Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our team under new ownership. We welcome both experienced CNAs and those new to healthcare, offering a supportive, resident-centered care environment.

Positions include days shifts, with full-time and part-time options. CNAs will assist with ADLs, monitor resident well-being, and collaborate with licensed nurses to enhance resident dignity and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri CNA certification in good standing.
• Successful completion of a State-Approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Current BLS/CPR Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, resident-centered care in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and use of assistive devices.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes in resident condition to the licensed nurse.
• Assist with feeding and hydration while encouraging resident independence.
• Answer resident call lights promptly and courteously.
• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident rooms.
• Change bed linens and assist with housekeeping tasks related to resident care.
• Observe and report changes in physical, emotional, or mental condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Follow infection prevention and infection control procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Promote resident dignity, privacy, and quality of life at all times
