Job summary

Pine Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center, part of Corewell Health, in Stevensville, MI, is seeking a dedicated CNA to join our nursing team. You will provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, following individual care plans and hospital policies.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, documentation, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Full-time, day shift, 36 hours weekly, with every other weekend; comprehensive benefits and a supportive work culture offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• State of Michigan approved CNA Training Course required.
• CRT-Nursing Assistant license required on hire (except in specified locations).
• CRT-BLS from American Heart Association required within 90 days.
• CRT-BLS from American Red Cross required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the direction of the Unit Manager or Licensed Nurse.
• Direct day-to-day care of assigned residents/patients including dressing, bathing, transporting and feeding.
• Documents care provided in accordance with guidelines.
• Maintains patients’ environment/work area/equipment and reports any equipment malfunctions.
• Complete and maintain required CNA educational hours.
• Participate in select unit quality monitoring activities under the Unit Manager or Nurse Leader.
