Job summary

Prestonsburg Health Care Center, an affiliate of Signature HealthCARE LLC, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (PRN) to join our team. You will provide direct resident care under licensed staff, support ADLs, and contribute to a compassionate, person-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Customer service oriented with ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care duties under supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) within scope of practice and resident plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident room.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake/output, and other data.
• Routinely turn and position residents.
• Recognize and support resident rights within the care environment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist resident needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
