Job summary

Scenic Wellness Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team on the day shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM). You will provide outstanding basic nursing care to residents under licensed nurse supervision.

You will participate in thorough shift reports, assist with bathing, grooming, hygiene, and daily activities, and explain procedures to residents to ensure comfort and understanding. Join us for a rewarding caregiver role.

Qualifications

• Missouri CNA license required.
• Ability to communicate with residents and staff.
• Basic reading and writing skills required.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and receive thorough nursing reports upon reporting for duty.
• Assist residents with daily care, including bathing, grooming, hygiene, and placement of adaptive equipment.
• Explain procedures to residents before administering care, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
• Keep residents dry by changing gowns, clothing, and linens as needed.
• Change bed linens and maintain a clean and tidy environment.
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds to ensure a comfortable living space.
