Job summary

Bruce Community Living Center in Mississippi is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caring team on a full-time basis, Monday–Friday, 8am to 4pm. The CNA will provide direct resident care, assist with activities of daily living, obtain vitals, document care, and report changes to the Charge Nurse.

You will participate in admissions, transfers, and discharges for residents, maintain infection prevention practices, and contribute to a safe, home-like environment that supports

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CNA certification in good standing.
• Ability to perform ADLs and monitor residents' needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular direct care rounds on assigned unit to assist with activities of daily living.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents/patients.
• Notify Charge Nurse of any resident/patient change in condition.
• Obtain vital signs, weights, and heights as instructed by charge nurse.
• Complete all assigned duties and documentation as required.
• Coordinate and prepare for new admissions, transfers, discharge of residents in the Transitional Care Unit.
• Maintain safe and clean work area.
• Ensure infection prevention and control practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
