Job summary

White Oak of Columbia in Columbia, SC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for day shift coverage. Base pay ranges from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour, with an additional $1.50 per hour weekend differential on Saturdays and Sundays.

Full-Time and Part-Time positions available; PRN not offered. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily activities, mobility, and personal care while reporting changes to nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina CNA certification is required.
• Experience in resident daily care is preferred.
• Ability to assist with mobility and transfers.
• Strong communication and compassion are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, personal care).
• Help with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Provide compassionate, hands-on care while promoting dignity and independence.
• Observe and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and CNAs to deliver resident care.
