Job summary

Sunrise Manor, part of Signature HealthCARE, is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for full-time evening shifts (2pm–10pm) with weekend rotation. A sign-on bonus of $2,500 is offered.

You will provide direct resident care under licensed supervision, support a compassionate environment, and contribute to high-quality resident outcomes. Ideal candidates hold a current active CNA certification, possess strong communication, and work well in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
• Promote a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for residents per facility policies and procedures.
• Perform activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope defined by state regulation and care plan.
• Change bed linen and maintain supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights, measurements, intake/output, and other information as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents.
• Respect resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards within assigned areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist resident needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

How you Will make a difference

Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
