Job summary

Avante at Ormond Beach is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide direct care under licensed staff supervision, helping residents with daily activities and maintaining a welcoming, safe environment.

Full-time and part-time positions are available for 7a-3p and 11p-7a shifts, with shift differential offered. Avante provides competitive pay, benefits including medical/dental/vision, retirement plan, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state certification requirements.
Must be 18 years of age.
Completion of high school or GED or ability to read/write and follow commands in English.
Previous experience or completion of a training course.
Positive attitude toward elderly.
Eligible for clearance through abuse registry and law enforcement.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care duties under supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
Assist in maintaining a positive physical, social and psychological environment for residents.
Perform duties related to resident daily living activities as required.
