Job summary

Avante at Ormond Beach is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to perform direct care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and to assist in maintaining a positive physical, social and psychological environment for the residents.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Completion of high school or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral commands in English.
• Previous CNA experience or completion of training.
• Positive attitude toward elderly.
• Must be eligible for clearance through background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents under supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding).
• Document care given and report changes to supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for residents.
