Job summary

Powers Health is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Hartsfield Village Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing in Indiana. This part-time role (0.9 FTE) runs 6:00am-2:00pm or 2:00pm-10:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays, offering a stable schedule and benefit eligibility.

You will provide basic patient care under policy guidelines, respond to call lights, assist with meals and mobility, and maintain a clean, safe environment while delivering compassionate support to residents.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Education equivalent to high school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a certified nurse assistant training course and examination.
• Over 1 year of CNA work experience preferred.
• Current valid State certification is required.
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform required competencies within allotted time periods.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic care to patients under the guidelines set forth according to policies and procedures.
• Answers call lights, telephones, and/or respond to patient requests; acts on routine requests and/or relays information to proper personnel.
• Serves patient food trays, snacks, and/or nourishment
• Assists with patient mobility, (i.e., lifts, positions patient in bed, transfer between wheelchair and bed, and between cart and bed)
• Assists with patient ambulation as directed.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and aseptic environment in assigned work areas.
