Friendship in Roanoke and Salem, VA is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to deliver quality nursing care to residents across facilities.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED and Virginia CNA certification; CPR and AED preferred. You will support daily resident care, coordinate with teams, and assist supervisors with department operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Virginia CNA certification or approved direct care training per Virginia DOMAS.
• Adult First Aid/CPR and AED, preferred.
• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day; may lift/move objects up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to residents and assist with daily living activities.
• Coordinate work within the department and with other departments; report pertinent information to supervisor.
• Assist with resident admissions, transfers and discharges as instructed by licensed nurse.
• Maintain records of resident care and condition; record vitals and changes as required.
