Job summary

Hampden Post Acute in Massachusetts is seeking CNAs to provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents within a 135-bed sub-acute and long-term care setting. Opportunities include full-time, part-time, and PRN with daily pay and shift differentials.

As a CNA, you’ll assist with activities of daily living, observe and report changes, and help maintain a safe, supportive environment. A current CNA license and BLS/CPR certification are required, with a focus on dignity and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active CNA license in the state of employment.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care to meet residents' physical, emotional, and daily living needs.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition or needs to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well-being for all residents.
• Support nursing staff in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.
