Job summary

Covington Post Acute in Covington, TN is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily activities and nursing care per the resident’s assessment and care plan, under supervision.

You will identify residents, record ADLs, I&Os, vital signs and meals, report changes to the Nurse Supervisor, assist with meal trays and hydration, supervise residents for safety, and transport residents to activities as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in TN with active TN CNA registration.
• Active BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with routine daily activities and nursing care per care plan and supervisor directions.
• Identify residents using wristband or photo before care and treatments.
• Record ADLs, I&Os, meals intake, vitals, and other progress notes clearly in flow sheets.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
