Job summary

Morada Senior Living is hiring CNAs for our community. The CNA role provides hands-on care, physical and emotional support to residents in a safe, home-like setting.

You will be part of a team in a community-focused organization serving seniors across multiple care levels. Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for a designated group of residents during the shift; checks on residents throughout the shift.
• Observes, reports and documents symptoms and conditions of residents for changes.
• Responds to security system and resident call bells promptly.
• Notifies supervisor or Health Care Coordinator if a resident requires more care.
• Assists with continence management and sanitation of resident suites and restrooms.
• Serves and collects food trays and reports any meal refusals or loss of appetite.
• Maintains cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Practices standard care precautions for cleanliness and health.
• Helps residents maintain independence, dignity and safety.
• Assists with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transfers, eating).
• Engages residents in life skills and enrichment activities.
• Greets and assists all customers, guests, residents, vendors and team members.
• Performs resident laundry as assigned and needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Education

Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.

High School diploma/GED
