Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing and licensed in the state.
• Experience in long-term care or senior living preferred.
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds - physical work is a primary part of the job.
• Able to stand, bend and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care under licensed nurse supervision.
• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, and daily care.
• Keep residents dry and change linens as needed.
• Handle linens and maintain infection control.
• Assist with bowel and bladder functions.
• Prepare residents for appointments and activities.
• Assist with lifting, positioning, and transport.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility.
• Perform restorative procedures as instructed.
• Record measurements and vital signs as instructed.
• Report changes to the nurse and document accordingly.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident units and related areas.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
