Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct, hands-on care to residents, supporting daily activities and promoting dignity and independence. The role involves assisting with grooming, nutrition, mobility, and social engagement, while reporting changes to the care team with compassion and professionalism.

As part of our team, CNAs support a safe, clean environment, collaborate with residents, families, and staff, and contribute to overall resident

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of an accredited CNA program required.
• One year of experience as a certified nursing assistant preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with common digital tools and applications (Outlook, Excel, Word), web platforms, and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs (grooming, hygiene, dressing, nutrition).
• Monitor vital signs and intake/output as directed.
• Transport or assist residents with mobility and repositioning.
• Assist with meals and housekeeping tasks.
• Encourage participation in activities and communicate observations to the care team.
