Job summary

Mitchell House in Spruce Pine, NC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care, assist with activities of daily living, and support the nursing team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Measure and monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Provide health monitoring under supervision of licensed staff and assist with reminders for medications.
• Foster resident engagement through companionship and participation in activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection control protocols.
