Job summary

Lakeland Rehab and Healthcare Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate resident care and assist with daily living activities in a secure, supportive setting in Indiana.

Join our team to help maintain resident comfort, monitor health needs, and support nursing staff while upholding HIPAA standards and professional guidelines. Training and licensure maintenance are expected.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state where you practice.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with meals and feeding; offer water and nourishment between meals.
• Assist with personal hygiene including bedpans, baths, backrubs, shampoos, shaves and help with bathroom trips.
• Assist with ambulating, turning and repositioning residents.
• Monitor vitals and weight; document input and output.
• Support resident comfort; answer call lights and notify nursing staff of observations.
• Complete required forms, reports, logs and records accurately.
• Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA and all applicable laws.
• Adhere to professional standards, policies, and all regulatory requirements.
• Engage in ongoing education and maintain licensure.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
