Requirements include a licensed CNA, Home Health Aide, or related experience, references, annual TB test, background check within 2 years, ability to lift 50lbs, and strong communication in English.

Qualifications

• Licensed CNA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Home Maker, or related experience.
• References documenting skills and experience as a caregiver
• Current TB skin test prior to hire then annually
• Cleared background check within 2 years
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to read and write English
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with elderly
• Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities under essential job functions

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing bed linens, positioning, transferring, and incontinence care.
• Observe changes in resident condition, take action to ensure safety of resident and report to supervisor
• Make rounds to check on resident status
• Respond to call lights in a timely manner
• Vital sign monitoring as needed by trained personnel
• Assist with dining service and activity program as directed
• Follow safety and infection control policies and procedures
• Document care plans and resident status
• Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of equipment and spaces
• Meet resident rights and participate in required trainings
