Job summary

Eastern Health Group seeks a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under licensed supervision. You will promote a compassionate environment, perform personal care tasks, record vital signs, and support care planning in a facility setting.

Position requires current CNA certification, strong English communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with the nursing team. CPR is preferred, and daily work responsibilities include hydration, meal prep support, and data

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from state.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Customer service oriented under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and productivity.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Meet physical and sensory requirements and work in the described environment.
• Provide personal care of residents daily and as needed.
• Record resident vital signs, weights, intake/output, and food consumption.
• Ambulate and transfer residents with assistive devices as needed.
• Observe residents and report changes to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist in data collection for MDS and care plans.
• Ensure adequate hydration and meal preparation/assistance.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned areas.
• Assist with aseptic and sterile techniques to prevent infection.
• Support orientation and training of other staff.
