Job summary

Abbington Village, a 82-bed skilled nursing facility located in Roselle, Illinois, is seeking a CNA to join our care team. The role requires CNA certification and focuses on providing personal care to residents while maintaining safety and comfort in accordance with facility policies.

You will report changes to the staff nurse, follow assigned tasks, uphold infection control procedures, and contribute to a warm, calm environment.

Qualifications

• CNA certification is required to perform duties as a certified nursing assistant.
• Provide personal care to residents in a manner that ensures safety and comfort.
• Adhere to infection control procedures and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort consistent with facility policy and procedures as well as state and federal guidelines.
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Report all changes in residents' conditions to the staff nurse and report all accidents and incidents you observe.
• Follow work assignments and perform all tasks assigned.
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, pleasant and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the unit and shift.
• Follow all infection control procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
