Job summary

SnapCare is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to work in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting in Louisiana. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and document care while collaborating with the nursing team to ensure safety and high-quality care.

Ideal candidates have an active CNA license in Louisiana, BLS/CPR certification, and a resident-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification on the Louisiana Nurse Aide Registry.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by facility.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
• Complete credentialing, background screening, and health requirements before start.
• Strong communication skills with dependable attendance and a resident-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and activities of daily living.
• Assist with meals and hydration per care plans and dietary instructions.
• Safely assist with transfers, ambulation, and repositioning with equipment.
• Obtain and document vital signs, intake/output, and other observations.
• Report changes in residents' condition to supervising nurse promptly.
• Respond to call lights and resident requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Follow infection prevention procedures and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Protect resident privacy and rights and report safety concerns.
