Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with New Jersey laws.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Must communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Must be able to handle the physical demands of the role and maintain patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care per resident assessments and care plans.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Report changes to supervising staff and document care provided.
• Monitor residents for safety and respond to call bells and emergencies.
• Follow facility policies, participate in continuing education, and work flexible hours.
