Job summary

St John Neuman Center for Rehab and Healthcare in New Jersey is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our care team. Under RN/LPN supervision, you provide essential daily resident support and uphold facility policies.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents for comfort, and help with meals while maintaining infection control and privacy standards. Prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently certified in New Jersey as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Follows the plan of care and attends IDCP meetings as assigned.
• Provides personal care to residents (bathing, grooming, etc.) and ensures proper dress.
• Follows infection control procedures and maintains privacy per HIPAA.
• Monitors resident comfort on a 0-10 scale and reports changes to the nurse.
• Assists with meals and feeding when needed and ensures timely care.
• Follows Fall Prevention Protocol and elopement risk procedures.
• Maintains room cleanliness and assists with ambulatory activities as required.
