Job summary

Victorian Senior Care in North Carolina seeks compassionate aides to assist residents with daily living per individualized care plans. You will support hygiene, mobility, feeding, transfers, and safety while maintaining dignity and resident rights.

Responsibilities include responding to alerts, aiding with activities, and documenting changes in condition under supervision. A CNA certification is required within 6 months of hire and adherence to safety rules is essential.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, understand and follow directions.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and reach overhead as needed.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• Must have two-step tuberculin skin test (required).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living per Care Plan.
• Provide personal care tasks as trained and outlined by RN.
• Support residents with dressing, bathing, toileting and mobility.
• Respond to call bells and urgent needs promptly.
• Assist residents with meals and snacks as directed.
• Maintain dignity, safety and confidentiality of residents.
