Job summary

Boys Town National Research Hospital in Nebraska seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient care and daily living activities. You will assist with vital signs, hygiene, and coordination with nursing staff to ensure a safe, clean environment for residents.

The role includes 3x12 hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) with rotating weekends and holidays. Prior CNA and BLS certification, plus comfortable use of electronic health records, are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 16 years of age required.
• CNA certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience using multiple computer systems (e.g. Microsoft, Electronic Health Record) required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one year of CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts 7:00 AM-7:30 PM, rotating weekends and holidays.
• Perform receptionist duties: direct visitors, answer calls, help visitors and staff locate patients.
• Assist nursing staff with charting, admissions/discharges, and stocking supplies.
• Assist patients with daily living activities and basic hygiene.
• Monitor vital signs and provide patient care under RN supervision.
