Job summary

As a CNA, you will provide direct resident care under licensed nurses, promote a home-like environment, and help residents meet daily care plan objectives with attention to safety and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Prior LTC nursing assistant experience preferred; or equivalent education and experience.
• Good standing in the state registry is required.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights and intercoms to determine resident needs.
• Perform direct resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Record meal intake, snacks, and hydration; document care as directed.
• Notify supervisor of changes in resident conditions and maintain clean work areas.
• Participate in in-services, staff meetings, and shift handoffs.
