Sterling Healthcare Management, LLC in Elwood, IN is seeking a caring Certified Nursing Assistant to join our long-term care team. You will provide hands-on personal care, assist with daily routines, and be the heartbeat on the nursing floor.

This role offers rotating shifts, a supportive leadership team, and a work environment that values ideas. Must have a CNA license, complete Nurse Aide Training, and ideally BLS/CPR. New graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Current, valid CNA license in the state of practice.
• Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide Training program.
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred — new graduates welcome.
• Genuine compassion for elderly and medically complex residents.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene
• Help residents with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and repositioning
• Obtain and document vital signs, weights, and intake and output
• Observe and promptly report changes in resident condition to the nurse
• Respond to call lights quickly and with a caring attitude
• Follow care plans, infection control protocols, and safety standards
• Document care provided accurately each shift
