Job summary

Nurse Next Door is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our in-home care team in Idaho. The CNA will perform personal care per a licensed care plan, observe clients, and report changes to the supervising nurse or Care Designer.

Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, grooming, peri-care, basic mobility, vital signs, and light housekeeping. Qualified candidates hold an Idaho CNA license, HS diploma or GED, CPR, and are registered on the Idaho Health Care Aide Registry.

Qualifications

• Licensed CNA in Idaho is required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Registered on Idaho State Health Care Aide Registry.
• CPR certification and criminal background check clearance.
• Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray.
• Valid driver’s license with insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Observe clients and report changes to the Care Designer or nurse.
• Provide personal care per care plan (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Assist with peri-care, feeding, and mobility including transfers.
• Take vital signs and document observations and care performed.
• Maintain infection control and safe home environment.
• Transport to appointments and accompany client as needed.
