Job summary

Creative Solutions In HealthCare is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate daily care and support to residents. You will work closely with the care team to ensure high-quality service and maintain a safe, clean environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with grooming and bathing, recording vitals, helping residents with mobility, and encouraging engagement through activities. A Texas CNA certification and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas.
• Ability to accurately record information and perform technical procedures.
• Strong communication, self-discipline and patience.
• Care for elderly and individuals with disabilities.
• Understanding of Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
• Adherence to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care: grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, dressing per care policy guidelines.
• Maintain Resident Environment: change linens and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Support Mobility: safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics.
• Record Vital Information: document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption.
• Assist with Positioning: turn and reposition residents for comfort and safety.
• Encourage Engagement: lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed.
