Job summary

Liberty Commons in Jacksonville, NC is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). This role supports residents with bathing, dressing, ADLs, and personal care, providing compassionate, resident-centered care.

You will assist with oral hygiene, complete shift records, and collaborate with the charge nurse. Applicants must be 18+, have a HS diploma or equivalent, be listed as a CNA in the DFS registry, and commit to ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant listed in the DFS registry.
• Willing to care for geriatric patients and have a genuine concern for their welfare.
• Willing to receive, understand, and follow orders.
• Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and all ADLs as needed during shift.
• Assist with oral hygiene including denture care when getting up in the morning, after meals, at bedtime, and/or when needed.
• Complete patient care records at end of shift, including accurate I and O.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist charge nurse with resident needs and treatments as directed.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
