Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services in Raleigh, NC seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, hands-on resident care in a skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, oral hygiene, charting I&O, and supporting the charge nurse. Requirements: 18+, HS diploma, DFS registry CNA, willingness to work with geriatric residents and follow orders; attend in-service trainings.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified nursing assistant, listed in the DFS registry.
• Willing to care for geriatric patients and have a genuine concern for their welfare.
• Willing to receive, understand, and follow orders.
• Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and all ADLs during shift.
• Assist with oral hygiene including denture care when getting up in the morning, after meals, at bedtime, and when needed.
• Complete patient care records at end of shift, including accurate I and O.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Assist charge nurse with resident needs and treatments as directed.

Education
