Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support medical staff in caring for residents with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. The role requires patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to serve the elderly with empathy.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Aide in good standing or graduate of state-approved training and passed competency exam within 120 days.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• At least one year of CNA experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse(s) and other staff as needed and performs duties as assigned.
• Assists resident with activities of daily living per care plans and procedures.
• Assists with lifting, turning, moving, and positioning residents and transporting to beds, chairs or baths.
• Coordinates dining room services at meals, including setup, delivery, feeding assistance and documentation.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and ensures intake is documented.
• Tracks resident weight and reports changes to nurse/supervisor.
• Monitors skin condition and reports any issues to nurse/supervisor.
• Assists with toileting programs and completes flow sheets daily.
• Keeps staff informed of factors impacting task performance.
