Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in the Jefferson City area is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff, assist residents with activities of daily living, and follow care plans with compassion and empathy. The role requires patience and excellent communication to collaborate with residents, families, and the care team in a respectful, interdisciplinary environment.

Experience in long-term care preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Aide in good standing or graduate of a state-approved CNA program and passed a state competency exam within 120 days.
• High School Graduate or GED preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• At least one year of experience as a CNA in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse(s) and staff as needed.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living per care plans and procedures.
• Assists with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transfers.
• Coordinates dining room services at mealtimes, setup and tray delivery.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and documents intake.
• Assists with weighing residents and reports changes to nurse.
• Monitors skin condition and reports issues to nurse/supervisor.
• Assists with toileting program activities.
• Completes flow sheets and documents progress daily.
• Keeps nurse and supervisor informed of factors affecting work.
• Reports changes in resident condition to nurse and supervisor.
