Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; one or more years related experience preferred.
• Successful completion of a nurse assistant training and competency evaluation program, including passing certification.
• Meets state and federal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing and grooming, feeding, elimination, mobility.
• Monitors and reports changes in resident condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Maintains infection control practices and a safe environment; follows procedures and safety protocols.
• Assists with planning and evaluating plans of care; participates in staff meetings and required trainings.
