Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid Texas CNA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a state-approved nurse assistant training program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet health screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents/patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Provide mobility assistance and support physical therapy exercises as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection control protocols and hospital policies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
