Bellway Health and Rehabilitation Center in Selma, AL is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing team. You will assist residents with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and help maintain comfort and safety on a 24/7 basis.

We value compassion, reliability, and teamwork. The position is full-time or PRN, with weekend and holiday shifts required and opportunities for growth within our community.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Alabama.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct professional care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and exercise programs.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, and other health indicators.
• Observe residents' physical and emotional condition and report concerns to supervisors.
• Support residents' nutritional needs by assisting with meals, hydration and feeding as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, including making beds and changing linens.
• Assist with resident admissions, discharges and transfers while ensuring comfort.
• Document care provided accurately in medical records and charts.
• Communicate effectively with residents, facilities and other team members.
