Job summary

Advena Living in Topeka, KS is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our caring team. You will provide hands-on support to residents, help with daily living activities, and build meaningful relationships while upholding dignity and respect.

You’ll observe residents, report changes to the licensed nurse, and follow care plans to maintain a safe, welcoming environment. Schedule: 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm, with opportunities for overtime and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Active Kansas Certified Nurse Aide certification, or the ability to satisfy Kansas requirements for certification before performing duties that require it.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to respectful care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living while honoring dignity, choice, and independence.
• Observe residents and report changes or concerns to the licensed nurse.
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment.
• Document care accurately and follow resident care plans and facility procedures.
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive, resident-centered culture.
