Job summary

Advena Living seeks a Certified Nurse Aide to provide hands-on support, build relationships with residents, and contribute to a team that steps in wherever help is needed. You will assist with daily living activities, observe and report changes to the licensed nurse, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

The role requires Kansas CNA certification or eligibility, compassion, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Active Kansas Certified Nurse Aide certification, or ability to satisfy Kansas requirements before performing duties that require it.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to respectful care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living while honoring dignity, choice, and independence.
• Observe residents and report changes or concerns to the licensed nurse.
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment.
• Document care accurately and follow resident care plans and facility procedures.
• Support teammates and contribute to a positive, resident-centered culture.
